Clever!

"Matt Misses Turn" and the pause in the music as the car makes the jump are very clever! Since you're doing this for the people you work with, it'd be easy to get caught up in inside jokes, but, though I'm sure there are a few in it, you've kept the humour universal which keeps the audience involved. The folks at the station must be excited to see next year's installment! Is there a possibility you might make these on a more regular basis beyond the holidays?

Doesn't Look Like Ham, But ...

... it's definitely something ...

Some Tips

First off, I LOVE the Hanna-Barbera infinitely looped background! It's classic!
There is an easy way to color in Thin Cat and keep him colored. Create the body and make it a Graphic Symbol in Flash. Use that same body for the rest of the piece. The same goes for the head. Create a profile head and a straight on head and make each one a Graphic Symbol. Use those heads for the rest of the piece. If you've ever played with Colorforms, you'll have a better understanding of what I'm talking about. It'll also help make your file size much smaller. If you need help, e-mail me from my profile.

I Saw The Previous "Episodes" ...

... and discovered I didn't need to. The title fits the pieces. The viewer gets a few seconds of background before someone falls out of the sky. Good use of ... uh ... coming up with a title, I guess ...

Looks Great!

The art and style are spot on, but the piece runs a little too slow and a little too long. It would be better if you edited it a bit tighter. With the way the big cat (Dandy?) grows his limbs back, they should be able to stay under indefinitely!

Uncle-nuisance responds:

Of course Dandy grows his leg back. It's a cartoon, Dickmonster.

I Don't Like Stick Men ...

... but I LOVE this!!! You've got an eye for cinematic action and you've proven (as has Zhu) even stick figures can look good if one spends the time to animate 'em correctly! This rocks!

Pretty Darn Good!

This review isn't too much about the project as it is about the Author's Comments. The project speaks for itself with its good animation, slick art and cool backgrounds.

I've read too many Author's Comments where the creator either apologizes for submitting a "crappy" piece or points out its shortcomings or claims they're going to do something better "next time". Don't do that! Obviously you believed in this piece enough to submit it so stand behind it and let us be the judge. You've got some excellent talent working here so I suggest you put this one behind you and dedicate time to the series since it has a lot of promise. I'm sure people would like to see this story unfold - I know I would!

Simple and SO GOOD!

Though I'm not a fan of stick men on NG, I gave the graphics a 10 because they fit perfectly in this project! This piece is solid and it's very clever! Keep up the awesome work!

Slick!

This piece really flowed well! It's a great example of someone who knows how to tell a story visually and knows what the hell they're doing in Flash! Keep 'em coming!

The Damn Preloader Works ...

... and so does this piece! Though more time could've been spent on developing a solid storyline (is this about a guy who's least expected to be all powerful?), I understand that the point of this project was to get right to the action which it does. The music was used rather well, but it also would've benefited from some sound effects, especially in the opening. Certain stagnant scenes could be cut down a bit to keep the piece moving. The art and animation were well done. You've got some obvious talent here! Keep it up!

In dark of night, a flash of light, a werewolf howls, a monster growls, the village sleeps, the creature creeps, the scalpel stabs in Doc Monster Labs!
