Pretty Nifty Stick Movie!

I don't like stick movies - no sir, I don't! This one, though, was very well made from the animation, to the sound, to the story, to the pacing. It kept my interest and was entertaining (no pun intended). I just about fell out of my chair with the air vent scene since it made the whole thing surreal! This is an excellent effort and I can't wait to watch Luke continue on his quest! Keep up the good work!

lol cheers. but i dont wanna take on stick men animations full time. rather make hand drawn

Excellent!

WOW! What a show! The slick style, the fine pacing and the smooth animation show your professionalism! Awesome stuff! I've bookmarked your site! AWESOME!!!

Not Bad!

I also checked out the first episode to be fair and these toons are not too shabby. Fatard is funny with his whiney ways!
Two crits: 1) SOUND EFFECTS: especially with the flying scene, the sound cuts out a lot. Even if the engine is supposed to be sputtering, it doesn't sound right. 2) PACING: the storytelling is very slow especially during the graveyard explosion scenes. They could be edited down to make the story flow smoother.
Other than that, this is a series I'd like to see grow into a larger series. The premise is cool (I have a similar strip that's been printed) and the character designs are slick. Keep up the good work!

I Really Dig ...

... violent and bizarre humour and this has plenty of both! As always, great job!

Pretty Neat

There's no need to explain the characters are mushrooms in your Author's Comments since they're very well drawn which makes what they are obvious. I dig the overall style and the use of mushrooms as main characters! This looks like it's going to be pretty good!
My only nitpicks are 1) the music in the beginning just cuts out - it should either fade or segue into the next piece; 2) the introduction of the Conan-type shroom slows down the trailer and 3) the muzzle flashes on the guns should be larger (as in the scene just before SD comes running across).
Overall, this was a good toon and I look forward to checking out the series! Keep Flashing!

Simply Excellent!!!

Made sure I watched Episode 1 before watching this one. Though I think they're both great pieces of work, this episode is paced much better than the first. The humour is consistantly HILARIOUS and is the real backbone of your series. I enjoy the simple artwork & animation because they seem to enhance the dialogue. I love the idea of rolling a 10 on a d6! Keep up the GREAT work! You've got a new fan! Cheers!

Thank you, you really don't know how much it means to me that someone enjoyed this so much. I did everything to keep a style going, but not many people get that. Thanks!

Some Tips

MUSIC: If you have a sound editing program, first cut the music down to the size of your toon - you don't need the whole thing. Also, drop the quality of it since it's what's hogging up most of the file size. I gave "Sound" a 3 because, though it sounded good, it was unnecessarily large.
STORY: Write a clearer, more fluid story. This piece just jumps around and doesn't make much sense.
ART: If you're going to stick with stick figures, try making them look a little more interesting and try animating them a bit better. There are A LOT of animators here who do the stick thing. Ask yourself how you can make yours stand out.
I hope the tips help! Keep on Flashing!

FUNNY!

Excellent sense of humour! I can't wait to see the next three installments! Great job!

Constructive Crit

First off, the humour was there. I found it funny, especially the Seals' actual location and the beaver. I understand this is your first animation, but the animation is what you need to work on.

When I first saw the main stick figure, I thought he was broken in half. Later, I realized he was supposed to be standing behind the railing. Simply put the railing on the layer above the stick man. Also, when you had the celebrities' heads appear, try using cut out JPG's next time - it'll be funnier.

The humour's there. Just work on your art and animation and you'll be creating funny, cleaner looking stuff in no time! Good luck!

thx alot ill do that in #3

Coming Along

I think the new art style is coming along nicely with the new views on Farmer Bob. It would have been cool if we had gotten a full body shot of the robot before Bob started bopping it in the eye. Keep up the good work!

In dark of night, a flash of light, a werewolf howls, a monster growls, the village sleeps, the creature creeps, the scalpel stabs in Doc Monster Labs!
