Clever!
The fact it started off just like the original Pac Man game and then went into the story was a very clever and natural way to go about it. This was excellent!

I gave it my best shot trying to make it act just like the arcade, to the point that the actual point value of each pellet and ghost eaten is true to the game. Glad you liked it.
No Need For Improvement!
This is great the way it is!

If you want to add a little more, drop in some classical romantic music and then top it with a big wet "SPLAT!" sound effect when the time comes.
Thanks a lot, the romantic music idea is excellent. Will do.
No, 216k Isn't Too Bad!
The car was well drawn and animated so we know you've got the potential to do something better. I've also seen A LOT of stuff on NG from people that were "bored" and your stuff definitely looks slicker than theirs! Next time, when you're bored, create a short, but don't post it on NG. Go back to it later, give it a little more thought and time and I'm sure you'll produce something really worth posting!
Thanks. Well.. i put about an hour or so into this... so if i spend atleast 7 hours... i may have somthing relitevely interesting... but... this is only my 4th flash movie i've made. so i got some learnin to do.
THANK YOU!
You've thoroughly entertained me with this piece! It had everything an awesome animation project should have - excellent animation, dead-on timing and a gripping story! My only suggestions are (and believe me, as they are now, they're NOT a hindrance!) work on reducing the music's file size a bit more and, though I like the timbre of the actress' voice, she should enunciate clearly and read with a bit of feeling. That's my two cents. Again, as it is now, you've got a winner on your hands! Thanks again for sharing your talents!
yeah we wish but if we lower the music any more you won't be able to understand her at all:) thanks for the review
Fine Animation
The animation was impressive for the fact that you cut corners in the right places to keep memory usage down without making the overall visual suffer. It looked slick. The sound needs to be a little clearer and the volume needs to be more consistant because I had a hard time hearing certain parts. The piece needs to be cut tighter because there are a few scenes that had too much dead air. Scenes like when the chalk hits the floor and when the girl jumps out the window would have been better served if sound effects were attached to the actions. Your name should be written properly on the copyright notice at the end of the piece - it's missing the "S". I know I've made a lot of comments on how the piece could be improved, but I wouldn't have done so if I didn't think you had a talent for Flash animation. The animation definitely shows you know what you're doing and I look forward to checking out more of your stuff!
Thanks man I really like it when people criticize in a good way! And hey! It's nice to see that someone saw the movie. I guess you're right about the volume.. It should have been increased before I submitted the movie. I really tried to make it look good without making it to "heavy". Check out my other movie too! Thanks again.
Well done!
You definitely have a strong grasp of what a trailer should be. You've sparked my interest with your presentation. The art is spiffy, the text is intriguing and the music is excellent. My only suggestion is to improve E's walk cycle. Pick up Preston Blair's "How To Draw Cartoon Animation" which gives you step-by-step walk cycles among others. It's from the Walter Foster series of "How To" art books. Overall, you've done an excellent job and I can't wait for the series!
thanks. its funny that you mention preston blairs book, because that is the exact book used to create "e"s walk cycle. its good to know that a skilled animator appreciates good work.
